EPA is apparently at it again. Readers will recall that EPA has made the
policy decision to include/combine their misguided “environmental justice”
program under the Title VI civil rights act (CWMCN Volume 6, Issue No.
5). As if that is not a sufficient miscarriage of “justice,” it has come
to light that Regional USEPA officials in California have also included
people with “low incomes” in a presentation about a new agency policy.
The presentation was given to the California department of toxic substances
control which is currently involved in a number of environmental justice
disputes. USEPA was reportedly stunned a couple of weeks ago when not a
single congressman in the House Commerce Committee hearings came to the
defense of their civil rights policy.
